Saguache County 

Unofficial state primary election results for the 2022 midterm election. There were no contested races for any of the county seats — Commissioner District 3 Democrat Liz Maron (584 votes) was unopposed will face Republican Jeff Phillips (593) in November; Republican Trish Gilbert (643) will be the Clerk and Recorder; Republican Regina Schwartz (606) will be the Treasurer; Republican Peter Peterson (571) will be the Assessor; Republican Dan Warwick (595) will be the Sheriff; and Democrat Tom Perrin (631) will be the Coroner.  

 

Conejos County 

Unofficial state primary election results for the 2022 midterm election. There were no contested races for any of the county seats. Running unopposed were Commissioner District 2 - Republican Mitchell Jarvies (974 votes); Democrat Clerk and Recorder – Nathan Ruybal (974); Assessor – Democrat Naomi Martinez-Keys (864); Sheriff – Democrat Martin Maez (760) will face incumbent Republican Garth Crowther (957); Surveyor – Republican Martin Reynolds (964); Coroner – Republican Richard A. Martin (945). 

 

Costilla County 

Unofficial state primary election results for the 2022 midterm election. There were only two contested county races — Commissioner District 2 Democrat and County Treasurer Democrat. 

In the Treasurer election, Michael Ray Vigil led with 460 votes, followed by Benita Martinez with 335 and Rebecca Becky Romero with 199. 

In the District 2 Commissioner election, Lorraine A. Lorrie Quintana was leading with 429 votes, followed by Fernando A. Martinez with 341 votes, and Jake Mondragon with 225 votes.  

Winning unopposed were Clerk and Recorder Democrat Najondine T. Placek (822); Assessor Democrat Thomas Aragon (739); Sheriff Democrat Danny R. Sanchez (760); and Coroner Democrat Gary Roy Vigil (819). 

 

Rio Grande County 

Unofficial state primary election results for the 2022 midterm election. In the race between Republican candidates John Noffsker and Tyler Ratzlaff for Rio Grande County Commissioner District 2, Ratzlaff was leading with 1,405 votes. Noffsker received 609 votes. 

Incumbent Rio Grande County Clerk and Recorder Republican Cindy Hill won unopposed with 1,814 votes. Rio Grande County Incumbent Assessor Republican JJ Mondragon won unopposed with 1,764 votes and incumbent Rio Grande County Coroner Republican Stephen Hunzeker won unopposed with 1,747 votes. New candidate for Rio Grande County Sheriff Republican Anne M. Robinson won unopposed with 1,745 votes. 

 

Mineral County 

Unofficial state primary results for the 2022 midterm election. Incumbent Mineral County Commissioner Democrat Scott Lamb won unopposed with 135 votes cast for District 1. Incumbent Mineral County Clerk and Recorder Republican Eryn K. Winter won unopposed with 270 votes.

Mineral County Assessor candidate Democrat Stasha Birdsey received 131 votes and will face incumbent Republican Libby Lamb (239 votes) in the November runoff. Both were unopposed to represent their party.

New candidate for Mineral County Treasurer Republican Amy Wetherill won unopposed with 255 votes and incumbent Coroner Democrat Jimmy K. Adelman won unopposed with 139 votes.  

In the Mineral County Sheriff election, incumbent Democrat Fred Hosselkus (112) will face newcomer Republican Terry Wetherill (244) in November. Both ran unopposed to represent their party.
