New business Polished Bean

 Monte Vista Conquistadors, along with representatives from the City of Monte Vista and the Monte Vista Chamber of Commerce welcomed the Polished Bean to the business community Thursday, July 9. The Polished Bean is located in the Polished Edge, 1935 Grand Ave., in Monte Vista. They serve breakfast and lunch and a variety of coffees, pastries, smoothies and more throughout the day and have a convenient drive-thru and a happy hour from 2-4p.m. The Pacheco family, including Owners James Pacheco (not pictured), Rhonda Pacheco, Garett Pacheco and Faith Pacheco, along with their staff Luke Porter, Erika Medina, Payton Cooper and Bret Niemeyer are excited to be serving the community in a whole new way.  Also pictured are Conquistadores Denise Temple and Charlie Spielman, Chamber Director Ken Hamko and Adam Lock as well as City Clerk Unita Vance and Mayor Dale Becker (enjoying a signature drink from the Polished Bean).

New business Soup and Sandwich

The Monte Vista Conquistadors, along with representatives from the City of Monte Vista and the Monte Vista Chamber of Commerce welcomed Soup and Sandwich Company to the business community Thursday, July 9. Soup and Sandwich Co. is located in the front of the Monte Villa Inn, 925 First Ave. They serve lunch and dinner daily (closed Wednesdays), accept online orders at their website, www.soupandsandwichcompany.com, and offer free, contactless delivery within a seven mile radius. Owner Steven Valdez was a 2018 graduate of Monte Vista High School and is glad to be a part of the growing local economy.
