The entire Monte Vista School District took part in the high school’s annual event, Pirate Pride Day, last Thursday, May 11. Set up by Kana Condon, every year the high school picks several locations around Monte Vista to clean. The event was expanded this year by including Marsh, Bill Metz and Monte Vista Middle School as well. The students and staff had a blast showing their pride around the community. This is the students’ “thanks” to the community for generous donations, helping hands and the amazing encouragement each year.
