MONTE VISTA — This year marks the 99^thanniversary of the San Luis Valley Ski-Hi Stampede. The Stampede Parade Committee is excited to be part of this long-standing tradition once again by offering a parade, Saturday, July 24. This year’s theme is, “On the Road Again.”

“After enduring a difficult year, we encourage the participation of our community in this year’s Stampede celebration,” parade committee officials stated. “The parade is a much-anticipated part of Stampede, showcasing the area’s youth, talents, businesses and unity. Even though the parade is just one day, the entries will still be judged during line up and awards will be given.”
