In the girls 2A All State Cross Country, Sargent’s Kendra Sears was named to the Second Team. Sears placed in the top five of two meets with a first place finish at Del Norte’s Invite. At regionals in Rocky Ford, Sears finished in sixth place to advance to the State meet. There the Sargent junior finished in 21:03 to take 10th place. Sargent’s other honorees include Riley Kenison and Heather Prevette, honorable mention.
