Ty Coleman (Mayor of Alamosa) rode a bull at Sunday’s last Spring in the Valley Rodeo.  Burris and Sons donated $25 to the Monte Vista Kids Connection for every second Ty rode the bull.  He rode for 3.5 seconds on a bull named “Pooper Scooper”.  Burris and Sons rounded the ride up to 4 seconds for a total donation to the Monte Vista Kids Connection of $100.  Ty Coleman matched the donation of $100.  Mayor Dale Becker from Monte Vista was at the rodeo and also matched the $100 donation.  In all, $300 was donated to the Monte Vista Kids Connection.  The Monte Vista Community Fund and the Monte Vista Kids Connection would like to thank Shane Burris for his continued efforts in hosting The Spring In The Valley Rodeo Series!
