Raymond Lee Trujillo, 36

LOS ANGELES, Calif.—Raymond Lee Trujillo, 36, of Westminster, Colo. was born on March 18, 1981 to Frances and Arthur Trujillo Jr. in Boulder, Colo. He passed away unexpectedly in Los Angeles on Jan. 9, 2018. 

Raymond Lee devoted his heart and life to his family. His intelligence surpassed most; he could discuss and debate history, politics, movies, books and trivia with the best of them. Ray was lovable, extremely extroverted, and very funny. He had the best smile and gave the greatest hugs. His accolades included being a kind and giving son, brother, grandson, uncle, cousin, friend, artist, and self-taught chef. As a young adult, Ray volunteered with the Boys and Girls Club of America to help mentor kids. Raymond Lee worked in the food industry business for several years.

Hailing from Colorado, growing up in Santa Fe and the San Luis Valley in Colorado, Ray was forever proud of where he was from and proud of his family. He struggled as well but placed his family’s issues and concerns above his. 

Survivors include his grandparents Maria Orlanda and Salomon Jose Jaramillo; grandmother Diane Bogue; parents Fran Trujillo & Arthur Trujillo Jr; brother Dennis (Nicole); sister Candace; nephews Dylan, Braeden and Nicholas; aunts and uncles; several cousins and friends.

Ray was preceded in death by his grandfather Arthur Trujillo, grandfather James Bogue, aunt Cleopatra Estrada, uncle Kenneth Jaramillo and uncle Raymond Jaramillo.
