At approximately 5:55 p.m., MV PD took a phone call for a traffic accident that occurred in Safeway parking lot. Civil agreement was made by both drivers.
Harassment complaint in the 2100 block of Sherman Avenue. Waiver of prosecution signed.
Matthew Jiron, 20 Monte Vista, was taken into custody for a warrant out of Rio Grande County.
Shem M. Brown, 26, was arrested in the 500 block of Batterson on multiple warrants out of Alamosa County to include murder in the 1st degree.
Vehicle was broken down in the 1200 block of Park Avenue. Terrance Lopez, 21, Monte Vista was arrested on a warrant out of RGSO for a traffic offense without incident.
Individuals came in to Monte Vista Police Department to report an issue between tenant and landlord. Report taken.
MVPD responded to 621 Monroe St. for a broken window. A rock was observed on the inside of the home.

Oct. 30
Rosalie Salazar, 40, Monte Vista, was taken into custody for a municipal warrant.
MV PD got a report of a child left unattended in a vehicle. Case forwarded to DSS.
Female juvenile was found with marijuana in her possession in the 500 block of 2nd Avenue.
German Ochoa, 26 Monte Vista, was taken into custody for Domestic Violence, Harassment, and Violation of a Protection Order at the 600 block of Monroe.
Patricia Parker, 63, was arrested in the 1100 block of Park Ave. for disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, third degree criminal trespassing and obstructing a peace officer.
Rebecca Linnabery, 39, Monte Vista was issued a summons for Driving Under Restraint in the 1100 block of 2nd Avenue.

Oct. 31
Brett Cook, 50, Monte Vista, was taken into protective custody for intoxication, in the 10 block of Morris Street and transported to Crossroads Turning Points in Alamosa.
Ivy Trujillo, 30, Monte Vista, was issued a summons for Driving Under Restraint, and Failure to Provide Insurance Upon Request.
Stephanie Dilley age 52, of Denver, was arrested on a warrant out of RGSO and an out of County traffic warrant.
Juan Samora, 30, Denver was arrested on an APD warrant.
David White, 32, of Monte Vista, was taken into custody for Driving Under the Influence and Failure to Stop Where Required.
An intoxicated party located in the area of 5th Avenue and Lyell Street. Party was released to a sober party without incident.

Nov. 1
Hilarey Chavez, 31, stopped for a traffic offense occurred in the 1300 block of Grand Avenue. Hilarey was issued a summons on traffic related charges.
A red Chevy Blazer was towed from the 500 block of Ray St.
Report of a damaged fence in the 600 block of Jackson St. Report taken.
Dennis Dix, 54 of Monte Vista was issued a summons for DUR, and Defective tail light. Jessica Rubio, 38, Monte Vista was in the vehicle and was arrested on four active warrants.

Nov. 2
Report of a shoplifting at Family Dollar. Suspect identified and arrest warrant applied for.
Ms. Krista Casebolt, 32, Monte Vista, was arrested on a Monte Vista Police Department warrant.
Nevin Ortiz Franklin, 26, Monte Vista was issued a summons for Assault in the 3rd Degree, and Criminal Mischief, in the 500 block of Jefferson St. Antonio Martinez, 26, Monte Vista was issued a summons for Assault in the 3rd Degree, in the 500 block of Jefferson St.

Nov. 3
Benjamin Velasquez, 46, Center issued summons for driving under revocation.
Benny Steele, 73, Monte Vista was issued a summons in the 600 block of 1st Avenue for Protection Order Violation.
