The Monte Vista Pirates easily defeated the Cedaredge Bruins Friday night, 31-8. Senior Jacob Chavez completed the game with 167 total yards and three touchdowns, while sophomore Kaidon Wenta punched in the fourth TD. Junior Parker Randolph came up successful on all four PATs and one field goal. Next up, the Pirates travel to Calhan Friday to take on the Ellicot Eagles at 7 p.m.
