MONTE VISTA—On June 5 at 8:07 p.m., the Monte Vista Police Department responded to a disturbance in progress in the area of the 200 block of Clearview Drive in Monte Vista.
Upon police officer arrival it was found that a female party attempted to strike a male party with her a vehicle. The disturbance escalated over accusations of items being taken from the female. There were no injuries reported. There was some property damage reported to a fence. 
Vivian Gonzales 47, Monte Vista was arrested and transported her to the Rio Grande Sheriff Office where she was released to their custody. Charges will be sent to the DA office for filing.
