Octane Addictions returns to SLV Potato Festival

Octane Addictions will bring their motorcycle stunt show back to Ski Hi Arena Saturday, Sept. 7.

MONTE VISTA— Rev up your engines and come to the Octane Addictions Motorcycle Stunt Show happening this weekend as part of the annual SLV Potato Festival on Sept. 7.
The potato fest offers a variety of family-fun activities and they are excited to be hosting the Octane Addiction Motorcycles again this year. This thrilling and popular event will feature X-Games award-winning riders, who will wow crowds with their daring aerial stunts.  
Octane Addictions is a family-oriented, Montana-based, extreme motorsports company. They have progressively become a full scale digital print, graphic design, apparel and event hosting agency. Their event promotions began back in 2008 with their qualifying rounds of the X-Games, and their first “Big Air Bash!” Ever since then they have been promoting and hosting extreme, dirt-flying shows! Their business has been built around some of the most talented and extreme riders in the world. “We do this for our fans!” they said in a statement on their Facebook page. “You guys make it all worthwhile for us! We can bring the sickest aerial stunt shows available right to your hometown! We look forward to bringing the extreme to you.”  
Linda Weyers, assistant director of the Colorado Potato Administrative Committee (CPAC), said, “The people who saw it last year loved it, and they can hardly wait to see it again.” The show is also very family-friendly and provides exciting, clean entertainment everyone can enjoy.
Come out and watch some of the world’s best motorcyclist bring the extreme to Monte Vista. The show starts at 6 p.m. Saturday at the Ski-Hi arena.
Make a day of it and come and see all the fun things the potato fest has to offer. Everything will kick off at Chapman Park Sept. 7 with a 5K fun run to help fight juvenile diabetes at 8 a.m. There is a $25 entrance fee to participate in the run, and there will be t-shirts and other goodies for participants. There will also be bouncy houses for the kids, climbing walls, cooking demonstrations by a professional chef and so much more! There are still a few spots left on the farm tour bus too, so hurry and call the CPAC office, 719-852- 3322, to reserve a seat! There is so many exciting things you don’t want to miss!
