Norma Jaramillo, 55

RIO GRANDE COUNTY— Norma Jaramillo, 55, passed away in Rio Grande County. She was born June 23, 1963 in Monte Vista to Lloyd Jaramillo and Elisa Valdez (Jaramillo).
Norma always had an open door to everyone and anyone; she was a very caring and compassionate being. She enjoyed spending time with her siblings and loved being with her grandchildren and family and making enchiladas. Norma’s most favorite activity to do was gardening she loved being outside in the fresh air any chance she got.
She is survived by her siblings Annabelle (Mario) Akala of Kansas City; Clarence (Linda) Jaramillo of Kansas; Rose Jaramillo (George Robajo) of Alamosa; Henrietta Garcia (Chuck Dominguez) of Center; Anthony Jarmillo of Center; Nelli Jaramillo of Alamosa; brother in law Bob Williams of Center; her children Julian Jaramillo (Leeann) of Center; Joel Miera of Pueblo; Jennifer Jaramillo of Alamosa and Martine Miera. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Brianna Miera, Valentino Miera, Vieente Miera, Patricio Miera, Devrin Frank, Jordan Duran, Joshua Rivera, Myla Miera, Quincy Miera, Anaiah Trujillo, Gio Trujillo, Jose Jaramillo, and her two dogs Coco and Sofi.
Norma is preceded in death by her parents Elisa and Lloyd her siblings Danny Jaramillo, Gene Jaramillo, Robert Jaramillo, Edna Williams, Eleanor Jaramillo, Niece Roberta Jaramillo and Rico Martinez.
Cremation has been chosen by the family and a scripture service will be held Friday, Nov. 30 at 7 p.m. at the Assembly of God Church in Center. A memorial service will be the following day, Dec. 1, at the Assembly of God Church at 10 a.m. in Center.
