MONTE VISTA — Jim and Pat Nabers of Monte Vista are celebrating 60 years of marriage, June 13, 1957 to June 13, 2017.
Jim and Pat met in Desdemona, Texas. They have lived their married life in Colorado and have raised their three children in Colorado, and a little time in Texas. Their kids all have families and admire and love their awesome Nana and Popa. Their grandkids live in various places in Colorado, Texas and South Korea. They have two grandkids Dusty and Devin who have gone home to heaven and are honored as to the blessings they are to Jim, Pat, daughter Beth and the rest of their family.
Jim and Pat are now retired and spend their time fishing, snow skiing, 4-wheeling and spending time with their family of 14: three kids and spouses, eight grandkids and one great grandchild.
Their kids will be treating them to a fun filled week at an undisclosed place of celebration.
Pat and Jim are two of the most loving, giving and wonderful people who have been such an amazing example to all who have had the privilege of being around them.
