MV Police Report for December 10th-December 16th 2018

Dec. 10
Alecsis Lucero, 34, was reported missing by her mother. She was last seen in Alamosa and hasn’t been in Monte Vista since March. Referred to Alamosa Police Department.

Dec. 11
David Vigil, 35, Denver, was issued a summons for Drove Under Restraint (revoked).
A report of a possible sexual assault on a child in the 900 block of Acequia Drive.

Dec. 12
One male juvenile was arrested for third degree assault and DV in the 200 block of East Prospect.
Suspicious activity reported at Family Dollar.
Cassidie Fisher-Price, 24, Monte Vista, was cited for Operating a Unregistered Vehicle.
A report taken of a cold shoplifting at the 100 block of Chico Camino.

Dec. 14
Monte Vista PD units responded to the 600 block of Morton for an intoxicated subject.
Richard L. White, 34, Monte Vista was arrested on a Rio Grande County warrant.
There was a report of an unattended death in the 10 block of 3rd Ave.
Jose Martinez, 20, Center was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance, Criminal Impersonation, Obstructing a Peace Officer and two felony warrants.

Dec. 15
A vehicle that was reported as stolen to Center Police Department on Jan. 2, 2018 was recovered behind a residence in the 200 block of Monroe Street.
MVPD was advised of a harassing phone call, suspect Brett Cook.
Veronica Bencomo-Perez, 43, Alamosa was taken into protective custody in the 500 block of Dunham Street and transported to Crossroads Turning Points in Alamosa.
Steve Tipton, 56, Fruita, Colo., arrested for DUI

Dec. 16
Property damage, Adams St. and Acequia Dr.
Report of an open door in the 200 block of Adams St.
There was a call for a wellness check in the 200 block of Dennis St. The female party was found to be okay.
Ricky Gomez, 52, Monte Vista was taken into custody for a warrant out of Alamosa County Sheriff’s Office in the 300 block of Madison St.
