One-car traffic accident in the area of Grand Avenue and Euclid Street. Driver issued a citation.
Monique Martinez, 27, Monte Vista, was taken into custody for multiple felony warrants out of Rio Grande County.
Colorado State Patrol contacted a vehicle near the intersection of Alameda Boulevard and Grand Avenue. The driver was taken into custody for Driving Under The Influence.
There was a report of a stolen wallet, which occurred in the 400 block of South Broadway.

MV PD had a report of shoplifting at Family Dollar.

Jan. 3
Alexandro Villa, 27, was arrested for Second Degree Burglary.
There was a report of a crash in the 300 block of South Broadway involving private property.

Jan. 4
Jason Sanchez, 26, Monte Vista, was arrested for Retaliation Against a Witness or Victim and Harassment in the 10 block of Adams.
MVPD had a report of trespassing at 503 Batterson involving Russell Medina who was previously trespassed from the facility.
Patricia Vanderford, 56, Monte Vista, was issued a summons for Failure to Provide Proof of Insurance, and DUR Outstanding Judgement.

Jan. 5
MVPD advised of a possible burglary in progress on the 500 block of Bronk. Burglary was unfounded. Intoxicated Sean Weeks was located and taken to detox.
Report of a juvenile problem.
Vehicle was contacted on the 300 block of Dennis St. because the vehicle registration did not have a record on file.

Jan. 6
Traffic contact US Hwy 160 multiple warrants: Kyle Plane, 30, Del Note; Joseph Gallegos, 23, Pagosa and Brandon Fargerson, 30, arrested.
Mikal Chiquito, 18, Monte Vista, was arrested and charged with Assault, Felony Menacing, Tampering With Evidence, Child Abuse, and Obstruction at the 600 block of Jackson St.
MVPD took report of a vandalism at 115 Franklin Street.
Monte Vista Police officers responded to the 2000 block of Grand Ave. in response to a theft. Monque Gonzales, 26, Monte Vista, was arrested on multiple warrants and issued a summons for theft. Angela Gonzales, 28, Monte Vista, was arrested on warrants.
