On Saturday, Dec. 15, the Monte Vista Elks #2456 held their annual Cocoa with Santa event.  Jim Prentice played a fine Santa Claus handing out candy canes to the brave little ones who sat on his lap. Over 60 children and their families came into the lodge to drink cocoa, eat snacks and color pictures to be hung. The kids told Santa what they wanted for Christmas while parents captured their photos. Pictured is Evangeline  Gutjahr, 18 months old.
