To the editor,

As COVID 19 has hurt many businesses the Monte Vista Public Works would like to highlight a business that even in these troubling times has continued with donations to benefit the community as a whole.  All businesses understand the importance of making donations to different community organizations, whether it is to youth sports, recreational activities, community projects or the multitude of other notable requests that business owners face.  In good times these requests can be overwhelming and in bad times they may be impossible.  

The Monte Vista Public Works would like to extend our gratitude to Stone’s Farm Supply in Center for their continued support of our City Parks. For the last few years now they have, each spring, provided the department with enough fertilizer to treat each of our parks and at times to also help with the School District fields. This year was no exception, they continued to show support for us and the community by supplying fertilizer for our Parks.

We, the staff of Public Works and the City, would like to formally say “Thank you” to Stone’s Farm Supply for all they do for us and our community.  We truly appreciate the help and the support that Stone’s Farm Supply has given us over the years
