The Kiwanis Club of Monte Vista was privileged to welcome K-9 Lena and Officer Michael Martinez on June 7. The members enjoyed watching Lena and Martinez demonstrate her training skills as part of the Monte Vista Police Department. Lena is a beautiful Dutch Shepard with a lot of energy. It was obvious she loves her job to work with Martinez and is an important part of the department.
