Elementary students recently took part in a farm-to-table event sponsored by Valley Roots Food Hub and the SLV Local Foods Coalition.

MONTE VISTA— Parent/teacher conferences as well as bully awareness, farm-to-table and trick-or-treat events were just a few of the activities outside of lessons that kept students and staff at Sargent schools busy in October. These and other topics were discussed during the Sargent board of education meeting on Monday, Oct. 22.
