MONTE VISTA - The last coffee with a cop meeting was well attended by law enforcement with Monte Vista Police Chief George Dingfelder, Sergeant Eugene Ortega, Officer Michael Avila, and Officer Dylon Golden all being present. State Patrol Captain Brett Williams, and Center Police Chief Gene Meek also came to the meeting. However the regular meeting was cut short when Sergeant Ortega located a 2000 Honda Accord in the Lariat area that had fled from a traffic stop by Colorado State Patrol earlier in the morning. All of the officers immediately jumped into action.

According to a press release put out by the Monte Vista Police Department, the CSP reported a male and female suspect in the vehicle. The vehicle also had stolen/altered license plates.
