Kiwanis supports The Samaritan’s Purse Operation Christmas Child Project The Monte Vista Kiwanis Club met November 5, 2018 at the First Christian Church to put together 18 Christmas Shoe Boxes to support the Samaritan’s Purse Operation Christmas Child project.  The project started in 1993 and is the world’s largest project of its kind.   It uses the shoeboxes to demonstrate God’s love in a tangible way to children in need around the world.  Special thanks to Don and Janet Nolan for shopping for the items to go into the boxes.
