MONTE VISTA— Joyce Marie Lockhart Dennis passed away Nov. 25, 2017 in Fullerton, Calif. after a long illness. She was born Nov. 9, 1950 in Monte Vista to Al and Millie Lockhart.

Joyce graduated from Monte Vista High School in 1968 and attended Adams State College for two years. After getting married, she moved to Denver where she started a career in banking and mortgage finance. After many years living in Denver Joyce moved to California where she spent the remainder of her life.

Joyce is survived by her daughter, Lisa Wofford; mother Millie Lockhart; bothers Tom (Sandy) Lockhart, Pat (Julie) Lockhart, and Mel (Sara) Lockhart and grandchildren J. D., Nicholas, and Juliana Wofford. Her father Al Lockhart preceded her in death.

A memorial service will be held for Joyce on Thursday, Jan. 4, 2018 at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Monte Vista.
