RIVERSIDE Calif.—Joyce Garcia, Riverside, Calif. passed away on Saturday, Oct. 6, 2017 after a lengthy illness.

Joyce was born to Juanita Medina-Archuleta and Eloy Archuleta on Feb. 18, 1954 in Monte Vista, Colo.

Joyce was a very devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She was very proud of all her kids and had a great sense of humor and was the life of the party at family gatherings.

Joyce is survived by her devoted husband of 42 years, Juan; her children, Renee Martinez of Blackwell, Okla., Juanita Dressen (Jared), Jenny, Juan Jr., Julian and Jaime all of Riverside, Calif.; her grandchildren, David and son Shane Munoz and Savanna Munoz-Londyn of Blackwell, Okla. and her great-grandchildren of Blackwell, Okla. She is also survived by her siblings, Cecil of Monte Vista; David of Ludlow, Mass.; Shirley (Mike) of Dallas, Texas; Sara (Daniel) of Ulysses, Kan. as well as her nieces and nephews.

Joyce is preceded in death by her father, Eloy; her baby daughter, Sarita; her siblings, Sharon, Kathy, Toby and Joey and her grandparents, Joe (el Chota), and Eufelia (Felix), and Elena and Vicente Archuleta.
