DEL NORTE— James Roy Lewis, 70, of Del Norte, passed away March 22, 2018. He was born April 11, 1947 in Paonia, Colo. the son of Willard and Maxine Lewis.

James served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War.

He enjoyed living life fast, cars, flying and driving. 

Survivors include two daughters Alysia (Chuck) Teays of Salida, Colo.; Sannon (Chirs) Lecuyer of Westcliff, Colo.; his brother Greg Lewis of Moffat, Colo.; two grandchildren Deryk Teays of Poncha Springs, Colo.; Jessica Lecuyer of Fountian, Colo. and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents Willard and Maxine Lewis and his brother Ron Lewis.

A graveside Service will be held on Friday, March 30 at 1 p.m. at Homelake Cemetery in Monte Vista CO, 81144.
