THORNTON, Colo.— James Lee Valentine, 60, passed away on Jan. 15, 2018 in Thornton, Colo. He was born July 27, 1957 in Monte Vista.

He was preceded in death by his mom, dad and oldest brother.

He leaves behind a daughter, a son, 11 grandkids, three brothers, a sister, three nieces, a nephew, three great-nieces, 10 great-nephews and a great great-niece, along with lots of cousins and friends

He was taken from us way to soon. A celebration of his life will be held on July 28, 2018 at 1 p.m. at the rest stop on the east side of La Veta Pass, Colo.
