MONTE VISTA — The Halloween Festival and Moonlight Madness Trunk-or-Treat is on Friday, Oct. 28, in Downtown Monte Vista. Every year participating businesses in Monte Vista give candy.

This year there will be costume contests, activities and much more. The event will take place from 4 to 9 p.m. on Adams Street in downtown Monte Vista. Pick up your trick-or-treat map of the town at the Monte Vista Chamber.

There is still time to register a vehicle for the trunk-or-treat. Participants in the trunk or treat will be notified of their location the week of the event. For more information, contact the Monte Vista Chamber of Commerce.
