Free ‘Science Fair’ movie playing at Vali

MONTE VISTA— The San Luis Valley Regional Science Fair is sponsoring a screening of the movie “Science Fair.” This movie was the number one audience favorite at the Sundance Film Festival.
The movie follows six students from the United States and foreign countries during the 2016 Intel International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF) in Los Angeles, Calif. This film was directed by an Intel ISEF alum.
The movie offers a front row seat to the victories, defeats, and motivations of an incredible group of young women and men who are on a path to change their lives and the world, through science.
The movie will be shown at the Vali 3 Theater in Monte Vista, Thursday, Dec. 6 at 6:30 p.m. There will be no admission, however contributions are suggested. The refreshment stand will be hosted by the Monte Vista High School science fair students.
