MONTE VISTA— The Monte Vista Farmers Market will open for the 2019 season on Friday, July 12 in the parking lot at the corner of Hwy 160 and Jefferson, across the street from the chamber office and the Monte Villa Hotel. Hours are 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Friday through Sept. 13.

The market offers local produce and hand crafted items from the San Luis Valley, Colorado and New Mexico. The market is the best place to buy the freshest food, connect with the community and appreciate the offerings of the region.

They are also hosting a “Share the Bounty” booth for vendors who are unable to staff a booth but would still like for the public to have access to their offerings. This booth is also available for those who have a bountiful garden, more than you can use and don’t want it to go to waste.
Call 719-850-8170 to see if your booth is a good fit for the Monte Vista market and to have your questions answered. We look forward to seeing you there!
