HIGHLAND CENTER, Wis.— Eileen Patricia Murray passed away peacefully on April 16, 2018, surrounded by her family.  She was born on April 14, 1939 in Milwaukee, Wis.  
She graduated from West High School in Madison, Wis. Although she lived much of her life in Wisconsin, she found her spirit in Colorado. During her time there, she met the love of her life, Michael Murray. They were united in marriage and recently celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary.
Eileen had a dream of writing a novel. That dream became a reality when her book, “Little Kerber Creek” was published. A western novel that reflected her passion of her love of the West. Eileen had a passion for history, especially Native American history. Eileen also loved animals, which was displayed by the pets she would rescue.
She is survived by her husband, Michael. She is further survived by her five children, eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
