SAGUACHE - A Domestic Violence Awareness Month event will take place Saturday, Oct. 19, from 3 p.m.-6 p.m. at the Historic Ute Theatre in Saguache to honor Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Hosted by the Saguache County Sheriff’s Office and the Saguache County Victim Services Unit.  This important event will feature: an Arts exhibit in the lobby at 3 p.m. and open seating at 3:30 p.m. for an exciting performance by the Shumei Hikari Taiko Drummers promptly at 4 p.m.  Followed by a motivational speaker, refreshments, and informational booths for resources in Saguache County.
