SANDIA HILL, N.M.— It was 26 golfers vying for one spot. Greg Condon of Monte Vista, Colorado stood alone after a qualifying round at Paa-Ko Ridge Golf Club Monday. Condon’s 3 under 69 was the best score and has put him in the 64th annual U.S. Senior Amateur in Eugene, Oregon August 25-30. Jack Slayton of Albuquerque had the second best finish with a 3 over 75. He was followed by Mike Lohner of Southlake, Texas who finished with a 5 over 77.
