The games were held at Adams State University, with wrestling action taking place inside ASU’s Plachy Hall. Given the second bout of the showcase dual, Vigil scored a takedown in the first overtime period—after three 90-second regulation periods produced a 1-1 draw—to prevail 3-1 at 132 pounds. However, he and the Blue Team lost 28-23 to the Red.

Sargent’s Lainie Dillon (4) drives in from the corner and around Highlands Ranch-based SkyView Academy’s Natalia Miller-Forrest (25) during the 2019 Colorado High School Coaches Association All-State Games this past weekend in Alamosa. After losing 47-36 to Red in one of the two June 7 semifinals, Dillon and the White Team bounced back to beat Black 49-25 in the next afternoon’s third-place game.  The Lady Farmer standout was held scoreless in the first contest, but contributed four points in the victory.
