Carnegie Corner: Spring is in the air

Spring is in the air — so are those cute baby calves and lambs — and books are springing up everywhere!

“The Affair” by James Patterson, “Dark Sky” by C.J. Box, “Klara and The Sun” by Kazuo Ishiguro, “Amber and Clay” by Laura Amy Schlitz, “Beirut Protocol” by Joel C. Rosenberg, “Destined for You” by Tracie Peterson, “Fast Ice” by Clive Cussler, “Easy Meal Prep” by Good Housekeeping, “Indebted Earl” by Erica Vetsch, “Jesus” by Max Lucada, “The Kaisers Web” by Steve Berry, “The Sanatorium” by Sarah Pearse, “Win” by Coben Harian, “Skeleton Key” by Piers Anthony — in case I forgot that last one in a previous letter!

Don’t forget about Libby. It is our online system for accessing books to read. Contact us for more information on how to get set up with this system. We have a new web page, find us at www.carnegiepubliclibraries.colorado.gov.

We have a nice periodical section, come and check it out! If you do not know, we carry the Epoch Times newspaper along with the Valley Courier and Monte Vista Journal.

We are happy to be available to serve you. Our hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday and 12 to 4 p.m. on Saturday. We are closed Sundays.
