The library staff would like to thank everyone who helped celebrate the Monte Vista branch 100th anniversary celebration on Wednesday, Aug. 28. Special thanks to Valley Monument Company for the beautiful plaque commemorating the occasion and to Michael Espinoza who did a great job installing it.  


New titles received recently include: “Cut and Run” by Fern Michaels, “Love and Death Among the Cheetah” by Rhys Bowen, “Beneath the Attic” by V.C. Andrews, “A Better Man” by Louise Penny, “The Dark Side” by Danielle Steel, “The Last Widow” by Karin Slaughter, “Rival’s Break” by Carla Neggers, “Scam Me If You Can” by Frank Abagnale, “Texas Forever” by Janet Dailey.

Story time for toddlers and preschoolers is every Wednesday morning at 11 a.m.


Library hours are Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10 a.m.-5:30 p.m.; Tuesday and Thursday from 10 a.m.-8 p.m. and Saturdays from 12 p.m.-4 p.m. Closed Sundays.
