Calvary Baptist Church hosted a fundraising baked potato booth at the Crane Festival craft fair. The church is raising money for a mission trip to Refugio, Texas to help people affected by Hurricane Harvey. The church is leaving June 30 and returning July 8. Refugio is about 40 miles east of Corpus Christi and is very similar to Monte Vista in population size and demographics; residents there are still in need of lots of rebuilding efforts.
