25th Annual Fall Festival & Quilt Show headed to Sagauche

SAGUACHE—Fall is coming! Come celebrate the 25th Annual Fall Festival & Quilt Show on Saturday, Sept. 25 on Main Street (4th Street) in downtown Saguache. This event was originally created to celebrate hand-made crafts and the harvest.  
Entertainment has been lined up, the Saguache volunteer firefighters will be offering their beer garden, the Saguache Sagebrush Quilters will be on display at Duncan Martin’s Gallery, and the Friends of the Library will be offering their world-famous root beer floats. Entertainment will be provided by the Salida Circus, Seat of the Pants String Band, the Roadrunners and Old School. The stage will be located in front of Saguache Hotel Antiques.
Over 25 vendors have  submitted applications to offer their special items. If interested, the vendor form is available online at www.saguachechamber.org under the “Festivals” tab or call Carita Ginn with the Saguache Chamber at 719-849-0240.
New this year is the addition of the annual photo contest in conjunction with the Fall Festival. This will be the fifth annual event and held in the Methodist Fellowship Hall on 6th Street. For more information, contact Sara Fernandez at 719-239-0366.
As in previous years, funding has been made possible thanks to Saguache County Tourism and Saguache County Sales Tax Grants. Aventa Credit Union has generously donated entertainment funding.
